Keep customers clear about their next appointment
LeadFetch supports booking confirmations, changes and reminders by email, with optional WhatsApp updates when connected. Set the messages around your salon's working day and keep replies with the relevant conversation.
A reminder tells a customer about an agreed appointment. It does not decide whether a dog is suitable, confirm a request for you or guarantee that the customer will attend.

What is the difference between a confirmation and a reminder?
A confirmation tells the customer that an appointment has been confirmed. A reminder brings that appointment back to their attention before it is due. A customer enquiry or proposed time still needs its own clear next step.
LeadFetch's Appointment messages settings let you review booking emails, appointment changes and cancellations, and reminders. Check the saved settings and preview an example email before relying on them.
Choose when reminders should be sent
In Appointment messages, choose the reminder timing before each appointment. The app offers timings such as 24 hours, 48 hours or a combination, as well as no reminders. Review the sending window so messages fit the hours when you want customers to hear from your salon.
For example, a salon could choose a reminder 48 hours before the visit so the customer has time to check their plans. That is an illustrative choice, not a claim that a particular timing prevents no shows.
The message preview uses fictional appointment details. Check the actual date, time, business details and your additional note before saving your choices.
What happens when an appointment moves or is cancelled?
Moving or cancelling a visit cancels its outdated reminders. Review the new appointment details and whether change or cancellation messages are enabled, so the customer knows which arrangement now applies.
Keep the appointment status and conversation in agreement. If a customer replies asking for another time, that reply needs your review; it is not automatically a confirmed replacement appointment.
Does a customer need WhatsApp to book?
No. Customers can use the booking system without WhatsApp. Email supports the core confirmation and reminder workflow.
WhatsApp is optional. Connect the business's WhatsApp service and check the required approved templates before enabling appointment updates. The connection, message type and customer permissions must support what you intend to send.
Appointment updates and messages offering an empty slot have different purposes. Availability messages are for customers who have opted in to receive those offers. A customer's contact preference alone is not permission for every type of message.
Make the next action easy to understand
A useful reminder gives the appointment date and time, the salon's details and the customer's next action if their plans change. LeadFetch adds appointment details to the message; your notes should explain your salon's arrangements without contradicting the saved visit.
For example, your reminder note could ask customers to contact the salon if they need to discuss the groom. Use the contact route your business actually monitors. Do not promise an instant reply if no one will be available.
Check a message's result and follow up on any delivery problem. Sending a reminder is not proof that it was delivered, read or acted on.
